This past week I enjoyed a road trip with my college roommate and routine model when I was just beginning photography. Every time we have ever shot together I love it more than the last. 

Most of these images were shot in our Air Bnb in Jacksonville, Florida. This place was decorated like a castle with huge windows, iron chandeliers, and a claw foot tub. Perfect place for a photo shoot.

I don't often shoot models, but when one wanders into my apartment I'm not fool enough to resist the opportunity.

Christanie and I ran around at Arizona Grand Resort which made the most amazing backdrop for our photos. We also shot some in my new apartment (this is my first shoot in the new place)

As you can see from the behind the scenes below, we did some of the shoot in the bathroom. Follow the light.

Previously, I have drawn inspiration from classical Renaissance paintings, from the worlds most innovative portrait artists, and from my many beautiful roommates. Today, my inspiration is derived from the Emoji keyboard. Particularly this part of it:
