My first ever maternity shoot <3
I have no words. I'm simply so excited for Nicole and her baby and honored to document this time in her life.
I was in Michael's the other day, and I found a very beautiful, decently sized frame. It's probably 20'' on the short side, but I forget the exact dimensions. I also bought a bunch of silk flowers while at Michael's. This is all on top of having recently purchased a 5' mirror from a friend ($20) and that beautiful sheer dress from Target ($27).
So, inspired by this beautiful empty frame I had to do a shoot with some of my new props.
The difference between the above and below images is simply that the ones below were shot through a (kind of dirty) 5' tall mirror.
Here's my big, big problem for you to help me solve: Which one is the best?
The images are numbered. Comment below which one you think should go in the frame (or maybe I'll print multiple? but then I need more frames!)
Yesterday, I got to meet up with my favorite food stylist, Laurel (@sweetlaurelblog). This woman is such a peach. She always brightens my day.
I also recently acquired a very large mirror (very excited about this!) and the dress from target from the last post. I was taking some iPhone selfies. I may or may not spend today making a series of classical portraits if they were selfies ;)
I saw this floral button down and had a little flashback to last spring when everything I shot was floral. It's still a theme in my photography as a whole, but it used to be most of what inspired me.
I also got some incredible red lipstick from my sister for my birthday. So, thank you, Lane.
I was also having a rough day this week and decided to buy myself something impulsively.
I got this beautiful dress at Target.
Of. All. Places.
It is currently adorning my dress form in my bedroom where I can walk past it and smile every day.
