Hannah and Clint

Going in chronological order I spent Saturday with my lovely roommate, Hannah. We got coffee, went shopping, and then drove to Clinton where they have these hilariously themed "Fantasy suites" at their hotel. We rented the Roman Retreat with some other friends, and had the most fabulous girls night. 

I will take any excuse I can to photograph that beautiful engagement ring of hers.

Sunday, I went to my hometown Farmer City, and I took Clint's senior pictures. I am soo proud of these pictures because for awhile I believed I wasn't as good at photographing guys as girls.  

Clint was a rockstar so this was a pretty easy shoot :)

Jerrod

I had the distinct pleasure to meet Jerrod through a friend of a friend of a friend, and ended up doing a shoot with him yesterday. Not only was he an amazing model (despite his lack of experience) he was also hilarious to work with. The first block of images includes the more serious ones, and the second block includes the hilarious outtakes that I couldn't resist posting. Also, when you get to the bottom you can see a pretty rad before and after or two.

Jamison Part II

Yesterday was the longest day of my life. However, I went to sleep feeling like I had been incredibly productive. I had my second senior shoot with Jamison (some summer photos, some fall photos. Love the final results!) at 9 am in Farmer City, and I spent the rest of the day editing and at work. Not many things in life keep me as satisfied as not wasting my time.

Recent Before and Afters

You know what I've been neglecting? The awesomeness that is a before and after. My favorite part of photography is looking at images that I've edited and seeing how far they've come. Editing is just as big a part of photography as setting the image up.

That being said, here are some recent favorite before and afters:
