Zach's Senior Pictures

This week I photographed Zach for his senior pictures. To be honest, I am always worried before photographing a guy. Since I'm not a guy I feel like I don't know how they can/should pose as well as I do for females. Luckily, Zach rocked his senior session!

My favorite part of editing these images was this next little before and after. I was SO surprised when I looked at the original image when I finished. They're just day and night.

Recent Selfies

So, this past week or two weeks I've had some extra time on my hands and have been taking pictures of myself. When I began photography I took a lot of pictures of myself because I didn't want other people looking at the pictures I took of them. Look how far we've come ;). Now I can't stop sharing my work. I shoot something every day. I'm almost always editing or looking up new business strategies online.

It's been awhile since I've done a bunch of pictures of myself, but since I have had more time lately I saw no reason to not do a bunch of fun shoots.

Mason Family

This morning I did a mini shoot with my favorite Mason family. I usually don't wake up very early (I do shoots in the evening and stay up all night editing), but a 9 am photo session was perfect! The lighting was fantastic, and more importantly, it wasn't yet 90 degrees. Maybe I can do a 9 to 5 work schedule :)

Ashley

This weekend I got to do a shoot with Ashley out at Lake of the Woods. Although I think Lake of the Woods is totally cliche, I have to admit it's a decent patch of land to do a shoot on. I focus more on light and subject than location. So, I could do every shoot in the empty lot across from my house and be perfectly happy.

Anyways! Ashley was an awesome model, and Tori was there to help coach posing. The whole thing was quite fun.
