Self Portraits

What a great week! I just took some of my favorite self portraits ever. The amazing one with the skirt flowing around me was not edited significantly. In that, I mean that the skirt was not manipulated. I tied the bottom layer in the back to fit my form and I threw the sheer top layer.

A bunch of amazing things came in the mail today!

First, we have a glass picture box with 5x7 prints inside that are mounted on 3mm styrene. I'm happy to have this as a product sample because it means I get to own it for myself. It's just stunning.

I also received metal prints from Peixoto that I will be selling at Peixoto.

Boudoir Part II

So, Nicole and I have done an iPhone boudoir session, and I've been waiting patiently to do a "real" one with my "real" gear. I shot her in the living room light (because obviously), and we only had about 30 minutes total to get the shot.

Need something to pose on? Throw a blanket over the coffee table. Voila. 

Finished the edits with Mextures (like I've been doing pretty consistently lately). I love these. I'm still tuning my boudoir skills, but I'm thrilled to see how this quick shoot worked out so nicely.

Self Portraits

I probably sound like a broken record, but LOOK at the light in my very own living room.

Seriously, it makes everything look like a painting.
