Self portraits at sunrise

I just returned to the States from Italy this week, and I'm dealing with jet lag. The other day I woke up at 5am feeling like it was noon, and decided I would do my sunrise self portrait shoot that I have been meaning to do. I didn't end up with any pictures showcasing the sunrise (they just didn't seem to turn out the way I wanted), but I have a hundred of me with the beautiful morning light.

Here I'll just be showcasing my favorite before and afters from that day...

Windy day in Rome

I'm currently working on a series that I hope to finish by the end of this summer (God willing) when I'm back in the states. I'm working on hammering out details which will come later, but they're more fine art portraiture. Self portraiture to be specific.

This is the one I made this month for the series in my apartment living room in Rome.

Here is another picture I got from making this composite. I'm actually a bit partial to this one, but the other fits into the theme for the series. So now we have both :)

And OF COURSE the Putting the Pieces Together image. Probably my favorite part...

I also made another image in my living room. This is not part of the series that I am working on, but it was my first attempt at the "levitation" concept in composite photography.

This girl is on fire

So, this week I was making a concept for a shoot when I get back that involved fire. Since I don't often like to set myself on fire I thought I oughta learn how to Photoshop this.

These are all just images from my folders upon folders of images that I've taken.
